If you found us by the Hip Homeschool Hop, please let us know! For those of you who do not know about it, Hip Homeschool Moms have a weekly event designed to help other homeschool sites network. Welcome to everyone who is exploring our site. We added a lot over the past week.
As usual, we will explore 5 other sites for Hip Homeshcool Hop and share what we see in the comments. Today in Homschool Pool land we are working on foreign language, lnguage arts and Lemonade Day economics.
We hope everyone has a great day!

#1 – first stop today was http://meandmy2monsters.blogspot.com/ which is a great personal site that has some cool ideas. It’s a blog that talks about what this one family does in their homeschool. I particularly liked the details on some of their field trips.
#2 – Visit #2 was http://watchmeplaynlearn.blogspot.com/2012/04/drip-art.html which caught my eye because of the art project. We love art here and this seems like a cool project we might undertake sometime soon. Thanks for the great idea!
#3 – http://kidsactivitiesblog.com/measurement-gallon-guy/ wow this is a brilliant idea. We are in the middle of weights and measures in math so this is the ideal craft activity to solidify the concepts. Plus, even though the younger kids are not yet there they might pick this up and remember it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I gave you a link to the magnetic map there.
Thanks! I love it and I am going to get it today. The kids will have a blast
#4 – http://homeschoolingjustnextdoor.blogspot.com/2012/04/seven-basic-essentials-for-art.html This is a site that has some great ideas. It’s a personal site that discusses all the things this family does. I love this post because we concentrate so much on art too.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog on the HHH and your kind words! Art is one of my favorite subjects to teach. Children have such natural creativity and it is a blessing to watch them express it through art.
#5 – http://www.townsend-house.com/2012/04/nature-walks.html was fifth on the list. The post about nature walks really called to us because while we are not regularly doing nature walks, nature is very much in our curriculum right now. Love seeing how other people do it!
